How does my dog begin to start off-leash hiking? Please see our policies page. If you have any further questions, please send us an email directly. If my dog doesn’t have recall, can he/she still join you on your field trips/adventure hikes? Absolutely! Several of our dogs don’t have effective recall, but still are able to join us on our field trips on-leash! How many dogs do you take out on your outings? Generally speaking, it varies on the day of the week. On average, we take smaller packs, usually 5-7 dogs. Again, there may be some dogs on-leash. My dogs aren’t currently on topical flea control. Is this a requirement? We do encourage all our dogs to have protections against fleas and ticks. With that said, we understand some clients and/or their dogs may have an allergy to their dog's topical flea control. We can discuss further during the consultation. Do you accept same day service requests? Yes we do. Currently, this option is only available for existing clients. My dogs aren’t current on their vaccines, including bordatella. Are they able to join your pack? No, unfortunately they can’t. In order to keep our pack safe, we require all dogs who join us to be current on their vaccines. Please see our policy page for additional information. My dog is 9 but still pretty active. Can she join your pack? Absolutely. As long as her vet determines that she is healthy enough for physical exercise, we’d love to have her! If for whatever reason your vet determines that your dog would benefit more from a private leash walk, we offer that service as well! Do you administer meds? If so, how much do you charge? Yes we do. However, we only administer pills, liquids and creams at this time, and there is no additional fee. Do you carry liability insurance? If so, how does it work? Yes! We are insured with PetSitters Insurance, LLC. Feel free to click on their logo on our home page for further information. Do you board cats as well as dogs? Unfortunately, no we don’t. However, we have plenty of cat boarding resources. Please feel free to drop us an email or give us a ring. How many dogs do you board in your home per night? Our insurance with PSI covers us for up to 5 dogs per night; not including our dog Wyatt, who is carried on a seperate insurance. Do you offer packages or discounts? We believe that all dogs and cats deserve quality care. We offer a lower rate for our 15 minute visits. Otherwise, we can discuss your specific needs in person, over the phone, or via email. Do you walk dogs in the rain or in extreme heat? Safety is our number one concern. Depending on the season, breed, age, and health of your dog, we appreciate you entrusting us with making the best decision regarding your dog’s comfort and safety. We may require shorter dog walks or alternative to indoor play if this is the case. How do you pick up my dogs and care for my cats? Do I just keep my doors unlocked? Actually, we request 2 sets of keys along with alarm code information. If you’d like to make other arrangements, let’s discuss. How do we submit payment? We invoice electronically biweekly.
